TVSC Records

TVSC Records is a UK Northern Soul label dedicated to bringing rare and underplayed 1960s–70s soul back on properly licensed 7-inch singles. We work directly with artists, estates, producers and catalogue owners to clear every track, print correct credits and press small, collector-focused runs — usually 300 copies — for real DJs and dancers.

  • Fully licensed reissues – no boots, no grey areas, every track cleared.

  • Small-run 7-inch pressings – typically 300 copies, 45 RPM, DJ-friendly.

  • Authentic label styling – classic 60s centre labels with full credits.

  • Tested on a real floor – releases are road-tested at Thames Valley Soul Club

NEW RELEASES

Creativity

We’re currently lining up our first run of fully licensed 7-inch releases – starting with classic Northern Soul dancers from the Muscle Shoals/Detroit orbit – and getting artwork, centre labels and pressing specs ready.

At the same time we’re talking to original artists, estates and catalogue owners about future titles, and testing tracks on the Thames Valley Soul Club floor so everything we press is guaranteed dancefloor-ready.

PAST TRADITIONS & A FUTURE FOCUS

We grew up on talc, all-nighters and US import 45s – that part isn’t changing. What we’re adding is the modern bit: proper licensing, clean artwork, small-batch UK pressing and a direct line to the people who made the music. TVSC Records is here to honour the way Northern Soul was built, while making sure these records can keep spinning – legally, loudly and for the next generation of dancers.
